Is Ocean free?

Ocean is free for Minecraft: three pins a day with a linked Discord account, one pin a day without. Every other game needs a paid license, which comes with unlimited pins.

Is Ocean free for FiveM?

No. Ocean is free only for Minecraft Java. FiveM needs a paid license, from $10 a month for a personal license, and paid licenses come with unlimited pins.

Can a player close Ocean during the scan?

No. Ocean runs as a protected process, so it cannot be closed from Task Manager while it scans.

What does Ocean do on a player's PC?

The player starts Ocean with a pin from staff and accepts its terms. A typical scan takes about 60 seconds, and Ocean cannot be closed from Task Manager while it scans. It reads system, hardware and process records and takes a desktop screenshot at the start, which can show other windows; that screenshot only verifies the scan and is deleted after 21 days. The results go to the team that created the pin. Microsoft Sysmon is enabled only with the player's consent and stays active until they uninstall it. Scanned players can ask for their data to be removed through the contacts in the privacy policy.

What is Ocean+?

Ocean+ is the Minecraft module, built for 1.9 and later, with more than 800 detection types that look at behaviour instead of fixed signatures, for a one-time payment.

What does a scan collect?

The system version, hashed hardware identifiers, records of what ran and when, and the state of the game's processes. The privacy policy lists every item.
