We recommend Ocean over Echo for FiveM, Minecraft Java and the other games Ocean lists: its scanner runs on Windows and Linux, Minecraft checks are free, and your own detection strings and configs work from the first paid licence. Each Ocean report also shows a cleaning score, an AI opinion and a side-by-side comparison of a player's scans.
Facts about Echo come from echo.ac and its free scanner page, as of 2026-10-30. Facts about Ocean link to the page on anticheat.ac that states them.
Why teams choose Ocean over Echo
- A Linux scanner. Ocean's scanner runs on Windows and Linux (downloads). Scanner platforms are not listed on Echo's site (as of 2026-10-30).
- Your own detections from the first paid licence. Ocean ships your own detection strings, configs and scan screens to the scanner, encrypted, on every paid licence (home). Echo lists custom JavaScript detections on its Professional and Enterprise plans (as of 2026-10-30).
- Minecraft for free. Ocean is free for Minecraft, with three pins a day when a Discord account is linked (FAQ), and Ocean+ adds more than 800 Minecraft detection types for a one-time payment.
- Evidence for the ban decision. Each Ocean report includes a cleaning score for signs that the PC was cleaned before the scan, an AI opinion in the language you pick, a side-by-side comparison of two scans of the same player, and an export to keep as proof (home).
- Games Echo does not list. Call of Duty, Free Fire, San Andreas and SCUM (home).
- Discord and AI agents. Twelve Discord addons for scans, results and bans, a REST API whose keys need only an active licence, and a remote MCP server that lets AI agents look up scanned users, risk scores and scan pins (API docs).

What they share
Both look past what is running at the moment of the scan: Echo checks memory strings, deleted files, USB devices, Prefetch, Amcache and macros, and Ocean reads execution history, memory and files deleted before the scan, which it recovers on NTFS and FAT32. Both link the accounts and devices found on a PC to earlier scans.
Our recommendation
For a server on FiveM, Minecraft Java or another game Ocean lists, choose Ocean: a Windows and Linux scanner, free Minecraft checks, your own detections from the first paid licence, and a report that shows signs of cleaning and compares a player's scans side by side. Compare the plans on the pricing page or download the scanner.
