Discord ID lookup and account age checker

Paste up to 50 Discord IDs to see when each account was created and flag the new ones. No login, and the IDs never leave your browser.

One per line, or split by spaces or commas. Up to 50 IDs of 17 to 19 digits.

How the date is decoded

A Discord ID is a snowflake: a 64-bit number whose top 42 bits hold the milliseconds since the Discord epoch, the first second of 2015. Move the ID 22 bits to the right, add the epoch, and you have the moment it was created, as Discord's developer documentation (opens in a new tab) shows:

(snowflake >> 22) + 1420070400000

For example, 175928847299117063 gives 1462015105796 milliseconds, which is 30 April 2016 at 11:18:25 UTC. The date is inside the ID, so this page needs no Discord API call and no account. It also means the page cannot show a username, an avatar or badges, because those are not in the ID.

Why staff check account age

A player banned from your server can come back on a new Discord account, so a suspicious player whose account was made last week deserves a closer look. If several accounts join at once, paste all their IDs: accounts created within days of each other stand out in the table, and the threshold flags them for you.

Account age is a signal, not proof. New players have new accounts too, and an old account can change hands.

This tool comes from Ocean Anti-Cheat, a forensic screenshare tool that reads the traces a cheat leaves on a player's PC when account age is not enough; its plans are on the pricing page.

Questions about this tool

Does this tool send my IDs anywhere?

No. The date is worked out in your browser from the ID itself, so the page makes no request with your IDs and no analytics event holds one. Google Analytics counts the page view, as it does on the rest of this site.

How do I find someone's Discord ID?

Turn on Developer Mode in Discord's settings, then right-click the user and choose Copy User ID.

Can it show the username or avatar?

No. Those need the Discord API, which this tool does not use. It shows only what the ID itself holds: the creation date.

Does a new account mean a player is cheating?

No. It is only a reason to look closer, because new players have new accounts too. Decide on evidence, not on the age of an account.

Does it work with server or message IDs?

Yes. The formula is the same for any Discord ID, so a server or message ID gives the date that server or message was created. The age then describes that item, not an account.
